It is with great sorrow that I announce that we will not be showing "Beauty and the Beast" at the Henegar Dive-in. When companies continually force their views on us, it's time to make a stand.
For those who do not know, "Beauty and the Beast" will feature a romantic relationship between a male and a female who are NOT RELATED TO EACH OTHER.
Not siblings, or nieces and uncles, or even SECOND BY-GOD COUSINS.
If we cannot take our eleven year old granddaughter/daughter or eight year old son/nephew to a film, we have no business watching or making it available for others to do so.
Also, some of the recent Disney films have featured upitty coloreds.
I refuse to make money from showing a film, at my establishment, that goes against the natural order of things.
God bless the Confederacy and path of the righteous.

Some Republicans are calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself.
Some Democrats are calling on him to resign.
Join me in calling on him to repeatedly smack himself in the forehead with the business end of a lightweight meat hammer.
35, 40 times ought to do it.
Make America great again, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions.

Dear President Trump,
You are now in office, and working for the people of the United States.
"I find that hard to believe, that's just a number I heard, that they've been overturned eighty percent of the time......." is no longer an acceptable statement. It not only lacks hard data, reinforces confusion, and suggests you are in touch with no reality save your own, it reeks of cowardice.
As a point of reference, here is a photograph of a real President. Notice the sign on his desk.
Read it. Learn it. Know it. Live it.
It is time for you, for the first time in your punk-ass life, to own your mess.
Man up, kitten.

"Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber."
Looks like you rubes got your wish.
Happy Inauguration Day. Enjoy the cull.

So, Congressional Republicans and the incoming Republican President say they want to repeal Obamacare, but say they don't want to leave twenty million families uninsured, and they don't want insurance companies from denying coverage for pre-existing conditions.
In other words, the two primary things the ACA was meant to do, it has done. Which means it was a success.
And yet Republicans keep screaming it's "a failure", and want to repeal it.
While keeping its most successful and intended ramifications.
Pretty obvious they don't want to repeal Obamacare.
They just want to rename it.
So here's a question for the incoming Republican House members, Senators, and Executive Branch electees and appointees, as well as anyone who voted for any Republican during this last election, or in any of the last few elections:
What the fuck is WRONG with you?

Tough week. We lost Leonard Cohen, Leon Russell, Mose Allison, and, apparently, our sense of tolerance, compassion, and decency, all in seven short days.
